3 months to go & my brief moment of weakness

Only 3 months??? I can't believe the "ber" months are here (I know that sounds extremely jologs). I was in Shang Mall during my lunchbreak to run a couple of errands and for the past few years, I have used only one shop in that mall as my basis for knowing that Christmas is fast approaching...


SIGH...I need to bring out my Christmas list, maybe over the weekend
Or maybe make a new list, check it twice (weed out the germs of last year hahaha!)
I hope I'm on all of my friends' holiday lists because I've been real good hehehe

Well...except for today, for just a fleeting moment while in the mall running from one errand to another. I answered another call...Mama Gran, I'm sure you are laughing your head off in heaven because guess what...

After Work Craving

Despite the filling lunch I had at Wild Ginger, I had this sudden craving when DH picked me up from the office yesterday. I wanted to eat but didn't know exactly what. I just wanted to eat period hahaha! Turns out DH was thinking of ice cream at that precise moment. So we found ourselves having a quickie stopover at THE ICE CREAM BAR in Rockwell.


I got my wish (a scoop of my favorite FIC flavor, Strawberry, plus dark
chocolate chips, marshmallows and strawberry syrup)


And DH got his usual Classic Banana Split


Awww...both tired from a long day at work but content and happy

Catch Up Lunch @ Wild Ginger

It was girl bonding time!
This lunch was supposed to have happened weeks ago
But was postponed a few times largely due to busy work skeds
(and on the side...a case of sore eyes)
We finally got to do it yesterday
I've been missing these two girls a lot because we used to be together everyday at work in Globe for years --- spent a lot of our coffee and lunch breaks, even after-office unwinding moments together.

The venue was Power Plant and we chose WILD GINGER (formerly Longrain)

I hadn't eaten here since they changed the restaurant's name but I was up for a change

They had combo meals (came with Iced Tea) which we all decided to go for to shorten
ordering time because we had so much to catch up on!

Loved the rice! I don't remember the last time I had Indian food
When I got back to the office though, I think I had to brush my teeth 10x hahaha

I wonder when the next get together will be?
They're both busy busy bee executives (ehem...wag ninyo akong kalimutan 'pag kayo na ang residents sa Exec Offices ng Globe ha?) and it's pretty hard to get all our schedules aligned
But I'm hoping we get to do this on a regular basis from now on
