It's exam week next week for Anissa. She had her non-academic exams yesterday and today. Starting Monday we go big time (Hekasi and Math in one day --- saklolo!). I'm not looking forward at all to next week because she and I always end up arguing about studying. I always find myself lacking in patience when we discuss schoolwork. She, on the other hand, constantly tests me to see how far I can hold back before I explode. Talk about dealing with a pre-teen!
She's only 11 but extremely opinionated, stubborn and headstrong. I can foresee lots of tough times ahead. Meantime, I'm prepared for the more immediate "battle" --- 2nd quarter exams argh!
