I'm Definitely On a Roll

This is unbelievable.

Only about a week ago, I got the surprise of my life when Ichigo Shoes picked me as the first ever winner of their (first ever) blog giveaway. Despite the fact that I constantly lost in contests and raffles in the past, that never stopped me from joining the ones I was interested in. Persistence is key haha.

So when I saw 2ndAvenue's tweet yesterday about two free tickets to the Cirque Mother Africa show, I again tried my luck. After all, all I had to do was follow them then tweet about it. Nothing to lose! I also wanted to see whether I could sustain the luck, just for the heck of it.

And what do you know?!

I was so thrilled (yeah, kill me for being shallow) when I saw this tweet late yesterday afternoon. Anissa was beside me in the room and she looked at me, wondering what had happened hahaha.

I really want to take her to see the show. She is our resident dancer/acrobat/gymnast, after all. We saw Cirque du Soleil last  year and my girls couldn't stop talking about it for days so I'm sure she'll enjoy seeing this, too. Unfortunately, only 2 tickets were given away to each of the 10 winners. This will have to be a special bonding activity for me and the teenager. 

We're being asked to see the show on the first day so I have to claim the tickets from Solar Entertainment either today or tomorrow. It's such a good thing that their office is in the same city where I live. The Universe loves me right now, can you tell? 

Will definitely blog about our Cirque Mother Africa experience this weekend!
