I had been regretting it these past weeks. I failed to register for the elections and was feeling so sorry about it. But I got the biggest surprise yesterday afternoon when a text came in, saying my name is still on the voters' list in our precinct! Luckily, the precinct is a stone's throw away from the house so I hurriedly got dressed and took the short, 5-minute walk to the school behind our compound. Was pleasantly surprised to see that there was no queue at all (this was at around 3pm, I think). In less than 10 minutes, I was done! So glad to have been party of history!!!
