Some much-needed girl bonding

Eversince I became a stay-at-home Mom, I have spent about 70% of my time at home. That's a HUGE change from my old lifestyle. When I was working, it was the other way around. But I've learned to look forward to waking up each day and not worrying about what to wear or getting to the office on time. Being a SAHM has its share of perks which I've learned to appreciate.

Every so often though, I also like the idea of spending time outside of the home, especially if it means meeting up with good friends for a few hours of shopping, eating or just having coffee. That's exactly what I did last night when I drove to Serendra to mee up with the Havies and the Baghags =)

Another Havie Get-together

Our dear dear friend (and my business partner), SS is here from Asia's fashion capital where she resides...so another get-together was organized. Our favorite hangout/pigout place in Shang Mall (also our favorite mall), CYMA was again last night's venue for this uber brief but enjoyable-as-always gathering. Too bad a few others couldn't make it.

Our guest of honor, Smiley

With her pretty daughter, Dannielle

The Havie gang's all here!

Another reason for the gathering --- we wanted to take a group photo of us wearing our Havaianas Foundation bangles hehe! In this pic with Pao and VLS, the masters behind Baubles, Bangles 'n Beads

My beloved Havies

Posted by Picasa

What brought us together? HAVAIANAS.

But besides our love for these flip flops we've discovered that there is so much more that we share --- love for good food (CYMA!), long conversations, Starbucks coffee, shopping, laugh trips, BBB bangles among so many other things. What started out as EBs (eyeballs to those of you who are not familiar with internet jargon) have turned into regular get-togethers that have become a huge part of our normal routines.

I'll always be grateful to my favorite flip flop brand for bringing all of us together. MWAH!
