A Prom and a 7th Birthday

As if there's not enough on my plate as it is (I'm not complaining, Lord, just saying), I recently realized that I need to prepare for these two important milestones in my daughters' lives. Thanks to my breast cancer, I totally forgot the fact that Sabine's upcoming birthday is her 7th. Mommies, we all know what that means, right? I slightly panicked at the thought of my chemotherapy sessions progressing until about late February next year. Which means I'll have to get a party planner to help me out. My treatments won't allow me to move much.

Thanks to a network of very reliable friends and Moms who like giving their kids birthday parties (WAS one of them ... emphasis on the WAS. I'll tell you why later.), I think I may have found my party  planner. I'm not going to say who it is just yet, because I've only spoken to her over the phone and about general details. I'd like to meet her personally and discuss things with her face-to-face. Only then will I feel comfortable about sharing who she is. I don't want to jinx it because I felt so good after I talked to her!

The other reason I got distracted is, Anissa's prom is in 4 months! I've been so excited about it, I even joined the Parent Prom Committee in school. With Anissa's permission, of course hehe. I'm busy trying to find the person who's going to make her dress and she, on the other hand, is squeezing the juices out of her brain trying to figure out how (or where) to get a date.

I need to not stress about these! Is that even possible?

Inhale ... exhale. I can do this!
