First time at L'Entrecote

And it was a fitting first time because I experienced it with a few of my favorite people!
Last night, we agreed to all meet up for an all-girls night out to celebrate the (brief) homecoming of a good friend who's been based in San Francisco for years now. It was hard getting everyone together for this, largely because a balikbayan's schedule is never ever relaxed. It started a bit late, thanks to Manila's very popular Friday night traffic jams. It was also raining from the time I left my house at 6pm so that just made things worse.

Nothing was going to ruin this night, though. Our friend hasn't been home in 5 or 6 years. It was definitely time for an "old gang" reunion!

But first ... the food at L'Entrecote
The menu is really no-fuss. In fact, it was the shortest I've ever seen in a while.

L'Entrecote Steak w/ herbed butter sauce and unlimited french fries
I personally enjoyed the fries because they were sliced thinly and served crunchy
I don't remember how many extra orders we asked for

It also came with a bowl of greens
Just add a bit more and you can have the set that comes with dessert

Fillet of Sole w/ mashed potatoes and spinach
The waitress who took our orders was kind enough to suggest this because it's not on the menu
I wasn't in the mood for steak or lobsters so this is what I had
Two thumbs up!

Another friend had this
I'm sure it was one of their smaller sized steaks because she wasn't very hungry
But it still looked quite a bit to me

My gang ... the sisterhood that never fails
(missing 2 in this photo though)
Over 2 decades of friendship that has stood the toughest test of time and distance

L'Entrecote is at Burgos Circle
