Did they say that summer would be shorter this year? If it's true, it certainly didn't seem like it at all. We've had quite a few extremely hot days in Manila, and the fact that I no longer work fulltime in an airconditioned office makes it totally unbearable to be at home most of the time.

Sick and tired of this heat
It's no joke, I really am.
I didn't pray for rain before I went to sleep last night
But this is what I woke up to today
I love that the air is cooler and I don't feel sticky so early in the morning
I hope we get more of this from now on
We need a real break from the heat!
